Community Involvement
A major part of what PeRshGo Industries stands for is the idea of building up local communities, and helping those around us, which is why we dedicate much of our time and effort to the following organizations. We feel these organizations make an impact on people's lives in a positive way. They range from national organizations to local co-ops but each is special to us and each we take great pride in supporting.
Boy Scouts of America
As most of us know Scouting has helped mold the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes and, through nearly a century of experience, understands that helping youth puts us on a path toward a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. PeRshGo Industries aids this noble organization by providing marketing consultation to the Great Sauk Trail Council which covers much of Southeast Michigan, and the Running Waters District in particular. Our focus is helping them promote their camp grounds, membership programs and activities.
Michigan Child ID Program
The Michigan Child ID Program provides parents and guardians with a "completed" Child ID Package that contains all the vital information necessary to expedite law enforcement efforts to locate a missing child. The program also helps to educate families about abduction prevention and safety. PeRshGo Industries helps this organization by helping promote their free Child ID events held statewide and often takes part in the work itself.
Detroit Windsor International Film Festival
The Detroit Windsor International Film Festival launched in 2008 is a registered Michigan non-profit organization and is funded through the generosity of the community—with sponsorship, gifts and donations. The DWIFF is proudly presented by Wayne County Executive, Robert A. Ficano. DWIFF celebrates the talented voices within the independent film industry who create unique, quality cinema that is stimulating and entertaining. The festival also invites prominent film industry members to meet, network and share ideas in an urban, educational setting. It is our mission that through our sponsors and partners, DWIFF seeks to raise awareness and give back to the local community to promote growth within the creative community. PeRshGo Industries has long supported the festival by working to promote the various programs while also participating in it.
Knights Templar Eye Foundation
The Knights Templar Eye Foundation, is an organization founded for the purpose of saving sight in those who may otherwise lose it. Originally created to fund individual procedures, the foundation now dedicates its efforts to funding research into curing diseases that steal vision without any possible recourse. PeRshGo Industries has proudly supported this magnanimous organization through charity sales and other promotions and we hope to continue supporting them for many years to come.
National Masonic Foundation for Children
The mission of the National Masonic Foundation for Children is to offer the Masonic Model Student Assistance Program (MMSAP) to schools in our communities to help the youth of this country towards productive, successful and healthy lives and prevent addiction and destructive behaviors. The NMFC builds on Freemasonry's centuries-old tradition of helping the most vulnerable in our society, including the very young. Today, more than ever, children need help in becoming responsible adults as they face countless challenges – broken homes, patterns of substance abuse in families, a complex world with many traditional nurturing institutions shaken. PeRshGo Industries sees the Masonic Model Student Assistance Program as a great way to help our country's youth and we proudly support this organization by helping them get the word out about their program and secure venues.
Technology Education Through Community Service (T.E.C.)
PeRshGo Industries in all likelihood would not exist if not for the T.E.C. program. It is where many of us got our first taste of technology back in our youth, and it taught us not only how to operate advanced electronic equipment but also taught us the importance of supporting our community through our new found skills. We owe a lot to them, and some of the first events we promoted were the Telethons to support the program, and the associated educational access station, WBHS Channel 19. They still use the logo PeRshGo Industries owner, Brandon Mullins designed all those years ago and in all likelihood that's what led him into promotions. So we proudly support both Technology Education Through Community Service, and WBHS Channel 19 and wish them nothing but the best as they teach the latest generation not just how to use technology, but why.
SuperHouse
Much like PeRshGo Industries, SuperHouse has their for profit sector, which in their case focuses on web design, and a group dedicated to locally made independent film . They work to build a community of people who use their skills to create media with a purpose. They seek connections with likeminded people who will join them in meaningful projects. And use their site as a tool to introduce themselves, team up with, recruit, share resources with, and expand their community. We have a relationship with SuperHouse that goes back to their founding, and we hope it continues long into the future.
